I’m a Designer with a passion for creating beautiful, functional, and memorable spaces! I’m a proud Mom of 3 Amazing Children and one Scottish Terrier. In my spare time I’m passionate about Exercise, trying new Craft Breweries and learning new Design Skills. I’ve been creating beautiful Short Term Rental spaces for over 16 years and started my own Company “Dream Vacation Interiors” over 6 years ago with a vision of providing interior design services backed by extensive vacation home management experience. I’ve designed a range of vacation home spaces from 2-Bedroom Condos to 15-Bedroom Mansions and everything in between. I’m a graduate of the Interior Design Institute, proficient in Sketchup 3D Software and a Trained Vacation Rental Expert. I’ve had the privilege of decorating model homes for a national builder and my decorating articles have been featured in local magazines. I’m a Florida native newly residing in Brooklyn, New York. In awe of the world around me, taking in museums and architecture, botanical gardens and cocktail bars, drawing inspiration from it all. I received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Florida International University after studying architecture for two years at the University of Florida. When it comes to design, I’m always striving for the intersection of form and function, where aesthetic meets purpose. I want to create spaces that excite and rooms for relaxing. I simultaneously love subtle and bold, classic and unique, ultimately fun and a little quirky, but always comfortable. I’ve worked in many facets of the design build industry including kitchen and bath design, commercial construction, and even furniture painting. What I love most is the transformation from basic to wow, whether revamping an existing space or starting from scratch.

I’m Chris Palcowski, Owner of Residential Installations, an Orlando based Company that assist Designers and Home Owners with the following: Assembling Furniture, Interior Painting, Wallpaper Installation, Wood Trim and Tile Feature Walls, Installation of Artwork and Window Coverings and much more. I have a strong background in Landscape Design and Outdoor Lighting. I studied Architectural Drafting and Construction Technology at Seminole Community College and Mid Florida Tech and have over 15 years experience in the Architectural Industry. I am a current member of the Wallcovering Installers Association. For the last 6 years we have partnered with Dream Vacation Interiors to fulfill all of their furnishings packages as well as other Designers in the Greater Orlando Area.
